Single-Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings, the raceway grooves on both the inner and outer rings have circular arcs of slightly larger radius than that of the balls. Because of their low torque, they are highly suitable for applications where high speeds and low power loss are required. They are mainly used for standing the radial load. But when the radial play is increasing, they have the performance of angular contact bearing assembly. In that case, they may simultaneously stand the radial loads and the axial loads. But they cannot bear impact. Therefore,they are not suitable to bear heavy load. The deep groove ball bearing can be widely used in automobile, tractor, engine bed, electrical machinery, water pump, agricultural machinery and fabrics machine, etc.
Double-row deep groove ball bearings feature higher load ratings than single row bearings, but are very sensitive to misalignments.
